The Jogorku Kenesh Committee approves the first reading of a bill to reduce the electoral threshold to 3%
On October 16, the Committee on Constitutional Legislation, State Structure, Judicial and Legal Issues and the Jogorku Kenesh Regulations approved the first reading of a draft law aimed at amending the law on elections of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh.
The bill is aimed at reducing the percentage barrier provided for in Article 64 of the Constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On elections of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic." It is proposed to reduce the electoral barrier for political parties to enter the Jogorku Kenesh to 3 percent. In addition, it is proposed to reduce the amount of the electoral deposit to 1 million soms and to cancel voting in form-2.
A decree was signed on the appointment of the Prime Minister and members of the Government
On October 14, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov signed the Decree “On the appointment of the Prime Minister and members of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic”.
The Economy Ministry submits for public discussion a draft regulation on the approval of the Unified Register of Public Services
On October 13, the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic submitted for public discussion a draft resolution of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Amendments to the Resolution of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Approval of the Unified Register (List) of Public Services Rendered by State Bodies, Their Structural Subdivisions and Subordinate Institutions" dated February 10 2012 No. 85 ".
