On May 30, 2025, the International Business Council (IBC) successfully held the XIII Golf Festival - IBC Golf Fest 2025.

The event, which took place at the Maple Leaf Golf Club, brought together business representatives – IBC members, government agencies, international organizations and diplomatic missions – in a friendly atmosphere.

Opening the festival, IBC Executive Director Askar Sydykov briefly informed about the results of successful joint work, as evidenced by the organization's performance indicators for the past year. In 2024, IBC raised and worked on about 160 different issues and initiatives aimed at improving the business environment.

As before, IBC acted as a reliable bridge between business and government bodies, defending the interests of the association's members and promoting constructive dialogue. The IBC's activities were focused on such key areas as improving the investment climate, international cooperation, organizing dialogue platforms, individual support, cross-border trade, improving tax and fiscal policy, protecting the interests of the financial sector, involvement in key legislative initiatives, green economy and ESG, and many other areas.

The general partner of the event, founder of Kant TSP Tanvir Aftab, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech and presented certificates of IBC membership to new members of the association.

After the official part, sports and entertainment events began. IBC Golf Fest 2025 was especially rich and diverse and included not only a golf clinic for all skill levels, but also master classes for children and adults, live music and a lot of entertainment. More than 300 representatives from 80+ organizations took part in the Golf Festival. In 2023, about 250 guests from 60+ organizations took part. The famous musical group GreenLight Band performed throughout the event.

According to numerous responses, everyone was pleased with the event — adults and children, participants of the golf tournament, master classes and numerous competitions.
