On March 15, 2019, the draft Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Lotteries” was submitted for public discussion.

The draft law was initiated to improve the lottery legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, prevent incorrect or contradictory practice of applying the norms of this Law, as well as to ensure protection of the rights of lottery participants and streamline the activities of lottery organizers.

On March 15, 2019, the draft Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Government Procurement” was submitted for public discussion. The bill aims to exclude legal norms regarding the extension of the requirements of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic on State Procurement to joint stock companies, where the state or municipal share is more than 50%.

On March 12, 2019, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov signed the Decree “On the Foreign Policy Concept of the Kyrgyz Republic”.

According to the Decree, the Foreign Policy Concept has been approved to ensure the effectiveness of the foreign policy activities of the Kyrgyz Republic.

On March 12, 2019, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic signed the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic (to the Land Code, Tax Code, Law “On the Moratorium on the Transfer (Transformation) of Irrigated Arable Lands in other categories of land and types of land")".

The Law aims to ensure effective use of agricultural land in the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as to support and develop private farms.

On March 14, 2019, the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic submitted for public discussion a draft Government Regulation “On Approval of the Regulation on the Procurement Procedure for Goods, Works and Services via the Electronic Catalog of the Web Portal”.
