The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic and Enactus Kyrgyzstan with the support of the European Union.
Representatives of ministries and departments of the Kyrgyz Republic, international organizations, authorized representatives of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the regions, development funds, business associations, young entrepreneurs and other key partners took part in the discussions.
The participants discussed and agreed on joint actions of government agencies, local governments and the business sector to implement the Program’s action plan.
Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy Marat Tagaev and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Enactus Kyrgyzstan Arslanbek Kenenbaev addressed the participants with welcoming remarks.
Representatives of the Ministry of Culture presented the Youth Entrepreneurship Support and Development Program in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2025–2028. Enactus experts spoke about the Youth for Digitalization, Leadership and Green Skills project and presented the new Jash Ishker website - jashishker.kg.
The topics of discussion included issues of state support for youth entrepreneurship, preferential taxation, educational programs for entrepreneurs, as well as the role of the private sector and development partners.
Deputy Head of the International Business Council (IBC) Zhanabil Davletbaev spoke about the role of the association in the development of youth entrepreneurship and youth policy in general.
"The IBC activities are aimed at improving legislation that promotes the development of youth entrepreneurship, startups, as well as areas in which young people are actively involved - the IT sector, the creative industry, the service sector and trade. We promote the development of youth business by improving the legislation regulating entrepreneurial activity," said Davletbayev.
IBC actively cooperates with educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan in the field of career guidance for young specialists, ensuring cooperation between universities and employers. As a member of EdNet, an organization for accreditation of higher education institutions, the association provides recommendations from employers to improve the quality of education for young people.
The IBC Deputy Head also mentioned projects carried out jointly with partners, aimed at supporting advanced business projects in the field of green economy and other innovative areas.
IBC provides assistance in finding investments, developing venture financing and improving tax regulation, simplified business management for areas where young people work. For example, to improve conditions in such areas as courier services, taxis, hotel and restaurant business, as well as in the field of production, industrial sphere.
“In addition to young entrepreneurs as business owners, it is necessary to consider youth economic policy as a whole, including support for young professionals working in various companies in Kyrgyzstan,” summed up Davletbaev.
