Why did IBC, the largest mining enterprises and associations of subsoil users decide to appeal to the President of the country?

This was discussed at a press conference at the AKIpress news agency on February 12, 2009.

The appeal is related to the decision of the Security Council “On measures to ensure safety in the sphere of subsoil use of the Kyrgyz Republic”, held on January 30.

According to the business community, if some initiatives are implemented, many exploration and mining enterprises that are actively working now can stop due to economic inexpediency.

For each issue voiced at the Security Council meeting, and the possible consequences, the subsoil users conducted a detailed analysis, which was discussed at a press conference.
