The event was organized by the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic in cooperation with the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek. The conference was attended by representatives of Central Asian countries.
Experts from the public, private and academic sectors discussed the role of the government in creating and promoting favorable conditions for e-business and commerce, shared best practices in this area, and also considered enhancing the security of the digital market.
As for Kyrgyzstan, e-commerce is in its infancy. To create a basic platform for the further development of digital technologies in the economic and social transactions in the country, the Taza Koom (Clean Society) state strategy of digital transformation is being implemented, State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy Aidin Sharsheev said.
