Day of Intellectual Property Marked in Bishkek

Kyrgyzstan needs to create conditions in which new ideas and inventions could emerge that will serve as an innovative source of economic development, said Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Altynay Omurbekova at the event dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the formation of the patent system and the International and National Intellectual Property Day in the Kyrgyz Republic.

IBC representatives took part in the event. Over the past years, IBC has been actively cooperating with the State Service for Intellectual Property and Innovation under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzpatent).

Distinguished Kyrgyzpatent employees were awarded with the Certificate of Honor of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic. Several inventors, cultural figures, artists and representatives of the business community were awarded with the Gold Medal of the World Intellectual Property Organization, and diplomas and certificates.
