IBC representatives, Deputy Economy Minister Bakkeldi Tyumenbaev and Head of the EITI Secretariat in Kyrgyzstan Karybek Ibraev discussed the pros and cons of the introduction of mandatory reporting for subsoil users according to the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) in Kyrgyzstan. Following the meeting, it was decided to bring this issue to the Advisory Council on subsoil use policy under the Economy Ministry, which, among others, includes IBC representatives.
