IBC Executive Director Temirbek Azhykulov participated in the discussion on the topic: "The future of Kyrgyzstan in the Eurasian Economic Union in the light of events in Greece and Armenia." The meeting, organized by the Internet edition of "Vecherny Bishkek", was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Center for Standardization and Metrology under the Economy Ministry, and the Finance Ministry. According to Azhykulov, small business will face the most difficulties after Kyrgyzstan’s accession to the EEU. It will be difficult for domestic small businesses to compete with large producers from Russia and Kazakhstan, so it has to find own niche in the EEU market. Azhykulov stressed the need to conduct an industry analysis for each business sector.
