IBC Executive Director Temirbek Azhykulov gave an interview to "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" (Russian Newspaper published in Moscow) on the status and prospects of the construction industry in Kyrgyzstan. Given the importance of this industry to the economy of the country, and to promote the objectives of the National Sustainable Development Strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2017, IBC and JIA Business Association are conducting a study of the current situation and opportunities for development of the industry. The study of value chains in the sector of construction materials is conducted as part of the USAID Business Development Initiative project (BGI).
