IBC Executive Director Askar Sydykov took part in a meeting of the Council on Statistics under the National Statistical Committee. The IBC head is the Deputy Chairman of the Council. The meeting participants discussed the activities of the National Statistical Committee and the development of official statistics in the near future. Council members also got acquainted with the results of the population and housing census of Kyrgyzstan. The IBC head made a number of proposals on the issues discussed.
