On August 15, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev, got acquainted with the activities of the Vertex Gold mining company.

Since 2011, the company has been developing the Jamgyr gold ore deposit in the Chatkal district of the Jalal-Abad oblast.

The Head of Government was informed about plans to build a gold recovery plant with a capacity of 300,000 tons of ore.

According to Nikolay Yermoshkin, the company's general director, laboratory tests of ore have already been carried out and technological procedures have been developed. In addition to the factory, a shift camp, an administrative complex and other facilities will be built.

All engineering and geological surveys of the site for the construction of the factory have been completed at the mine, and public hearings were held with the participation of the local population.

Currently, the company employs more than 500 people including residents of the Chatkal district.

For reliability and safety, the tailings will be built in accordance with advanced technologies using the dry storage method.

The Head of Government stressed the importance of the full implementation of all production plans of the company at the Jamgyr field.

“We are implementing a regional development policy, and in this work, priority is given to remote areas with industrial potential. We pay special attention to compliance with all environmental requirements. The Government always keeps this issue under special control and requires strict compliance with safety standards,” he said.

Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev ordered the heads of relevant state bodies to provide the necessary assistance to investors while ensuring control over the implementation of all safety requirements.

Vertex Gold Company LLC has been a member of the International Business Council since November 2017.
