As part of the implementation of economic measures aimed at minimizing the negative consequences of the COVID-19 spread, the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic by order No. 135-r of April 17, 2020 allowed foreign specialists to enter Kyrgyzstan within the labor migration quotas established for 2020.

A number of joint ventures, including IBC member companies, have difficulty continuing to work, as management and other highly specialized workers, foreign nationals, are currently in neighboring countries.

The new order amends the previously adopted Government order dated March 17, 2020 No. 84-r, which provides for exemptions for entry into the Kyrgyz Republic for certain foreign citizens.

According to the new decree, entry is carried out on the basis of appeals of the relevant state bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic sent to the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic. At the moment, the Government is developing an algorithm of actions.

Conditions for the observation of arriving foreign specialists will be carried out at the expense of the inviting organizations and enterprises in strict accordance with the procedure established by the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.
