How do the relevant government agencies implement the business recommendations for Kyrgyzstan’s tourism industry development?

Having conducted a large-scale roundtable on the tourism industry prospects, the International Business Council (IBC) developed a whole package of recommendations, most of which the government submitted for execution to the relevant government agencies.

How to strengthen the feedback with the state departments responsible for these tasks and how can the business help them?

These issues were discussed at the IBC Tourism Committee meeting. It was decided to recommend the Tourism Department under the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Kyrgyz Tourism State Enterprise to hold a meeting with the business community on these issues.

Of particular interest was the presentation on tourism destination marketing by specialists of the Manas KTU Higher School of Tourism and Hotel Management.

The Committee members suggested developing such cases for Kyrgyzstan, given the rich ethnic and cultural heritage, as well as the unique nature of the country.
