A unique automated conveyor for performing biochemical and immunochemical research from the Swiss company Roche – Сobas® infinity was presented on September 26, 2023 at the AquaLab laboratory in Bishkek.

High-tech medical equipment allows to minimize the number of manual operations, the influence of the human factor, increase the speed of testing and laboratory productivity.

“When Roche, one of the world leaders in the production and supply of medical laboratory equipment, was just entering our market more than two years ago, we sought to assist in expanding the activities of this company. We are pleased to note today that the first project in Kyrgyzstan to automate the process of a laboratory analysis system has been implemented,” said the head of the International Business Council, Askar Sydykov.

According to Razi Navruzov, General Director of Aqua Lab LLC, the adapted innovative solution from Roche will increase the turnover of laboratory research by 15-25 percent.

The new equipment automates all laboratory research processes: a laboratory assistant loads test tubes with biomaterial into the system, which itself assesses the quality of the sample and identifies its further route.

“The installation of such high-tech equipment from world brands is important for our country, because it improves the quality of services in the market, the competitiveness of our laboratory companies, the quality of analyzes, and labor productivity, which ultimately helps improve public health and the quality of life. After all, the success of treatment and prevention of diseases largely depends on correct diagnosis and the speed of testing,” concluded the IBC head.
