The draft law on reclamation and conservation of disturbed lands submitted for public discussion
On August 20, 2020, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation of the Kyrgyz Republic submitted for public discussion a draft Government resolution on the approval of the Regulation “On reclamation (restoration) and conservation of disturbed lands”.
According to the regulatory impact analysis to the draft resolution, the problems and grounds for government intervention are identified. The main problem is the impossibility of using land including developed quarries; dumps, etc. There are no norms providing for and regulating the conservation of disturbed lands. There is no state body conducting land reclamation in the country.

Entry requirements for citizens of foreign states simplified
The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic has simplified the requirements for entry into the country for citizens of foreign states and stateless persons. The corresponding changes have been made to the order of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic dated March 17, 2020 No. 84-r.
As part of the implementation of economic measures aimed at minimizing the consequences of the spread of coronavirus in the Kyrgyz Republic, a decision was made to gradually resume the passage of citizens of foreign states.
The Law on the Accounts Chamber will reduce the pressure of government agencies on business
On June 17, 2020, official information was published on the website of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic that the head of state signed the Law on Amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On the Accounts Chamber of the Kyrgyz Republic".
The law specifies the functions, powers, rights and obligations of the Accounts Chamber. In addition, certain norms of the legislative acts of the Kyrgyz Republic have been brought into line with the new codes adopted as part of the judicial and legal reform.
Unscheduled control activities will now be carried out only on behalf of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Parliament, and requests from the Government. At the same time, requests from the heads of law enforcement agencies on the initiated criminal cases were excluded from the grounds for such activity.

President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov signed the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On restructuring arrears on accrued interest, penalties, tax sanctions, fines for insurance premiums."
The law was adopted by the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic on June 25, 2020.
The purpose of this Law is to stabilize and support the financial and economic condition of taxpayers and payers of insurance contributions for state social insurance in the context of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic by restructuring arrears on accrued interest, penalties, tax sanctions, and fines for insurance premiums on state social insurance.
Amendments to the Law "On Compulsory Insurance of Civil Liability of Motor Vehicle Owners" made

The law was adopted by the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic on June 25, 2020.
In order to mitigate the negative economic consequences caused by the spread of coronavirus infection in the country, the signed Law changes the date from which the responsibility for failure to fulfill the obligation for compulsory insurance for certain categories of vehicles and their owners comes.
The Law provides that for vehicles owned by legal entities, including state bodies and local authorities, as well as for owners of freight vehicles with a total permissible maximum weight of more than 12 tons, liability for failure to comply with the obligation insurance is established from January 1, 2021.
