IBC Executive Director Aktilek Tungatarov attended a reception to celebrate the entry of Dutch investors in the shareholding structure of the Kompanion Financial Group MFC CJSC and an increase in their share capital from 650.4 million soms to 1.616 billion soms.
Social and innovation-oriented international financial and credit institutions and foundations from the Netherlands and Luxembourg will be joining Kompanion as new shareholders. Kompanion’s founder, an international non-governmental organization for economic development and aid MercyCorps will remain the main shareholder with 65% of shares.
According to Kompanion’s Board Chairman Ulanbek Termechikov, capital increase and attracting Dutch investments in the financial sector of Kyrgyzstan is one of important stages of the company’s development.
