On November 5, 2024, Executive Director of the International Business Council Askar Sydykov took part in a meeting with Asian Development Bank Vice President Yingmin Yang and ADB Director General for Central and West Asia Yevgeniy Zhukov.

The meeting was also attended by Zheng Wu, ADB Country Director in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The current issues of the business environment in Kyrgyzstan, economic development prospects, macroeconomic indicators, opportunities to increase private sector access to financing, as well as the prospects for economic development of the country as a whole were discussed.

The visit of the Asian Development Bank mission to Kyrgyzstan was connected with the 30th anniversary of the partnership between Kyrgyzstan and ADB, which provides significant support in the social and economic development of the country.
