IBC and Euromoney Group discuss cooperation

Executive Director of the International Business Council (IBC) Askar Sydykov and Deputy Executive Director Daniyar Mederov met today with representatives of Euromoney group - Christopher Garnett, Director, Euromoney Conferences, and Alexander Korol, General Representative in Russia and the CIS.

The guests got acquainted with the IBC mission and activities, as well as the state of the economy and the investment climate in Kyrgyzstan.

The Euromoney group management visited the Investment session devoted to the Kyrgyz Republic as part of the EBRD Annual Meeting held in May 2016 in London. At the session, IBC Executive Director made a presentation on investment opportunities in Kyrgyzstan, in particular the mining industry. The Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic provided information on the economic strategies and Government's reform program.

The Euromoney management got interested in Kyrgyzstan’s presentations and in the continuation of the investment session in London, Christopher Garnett and Alexander Korol are now Bishkek on a working visit, during which they have discussed issues of cooperation between the company and IBC.
