Chairman of the IBC Tourism Committee Stiphan Beher and IBC lawyer Ulukbek Turdubekov took part in a meeting of the working group at the Tourism Department under the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism to develop a tourism development strategy. The WG includes representatives of tourism and business associations of the country. WG criticized the draft strategy developed by the Tourism Department, because it does provide mechanisms to develop the industry and duplicates the previous strategies proved ineffective. It was decided to determine the priority tourism sectors, and each association will send its proposals for drafting a new strategy.
