Legislation in restaurant and hotel business discussed

IBC office hosted a focus group on legislation problems in the restaurant and hospitality industry (HoReCa — Hotel, Restaurant, Cafe/Catering). HORECA is a segment of the hospitality industry. This branch is becoming more and more important and actual. The meeting was organized by the OSCE representatives working with the System Analysis Regulation (SAR) project. The participants discussed the main problems of the hotel business. The information will be used by the Regulatory Reform Department (a working body of the SAR project) to make recommendations for the laws regulating entrepreneurial activity. The recommendations will be sent to the Regulatory Reform Council, headed by the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The next focus group will be devoted to the progress of each regulatory legal act HORECA representatives are working.
