IBC Executive Director Temirbek Azhykulov and Lawyer Sultan Khalilov, as well as representatives of Sky Mobile and the Association of Communication Operators (ACO) met with experts from the Secretariat of the Business Development and Investment Council under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic. The participants discussed the tax authorities’ failure to comply with tax rules on international telecommunications services, particularly roaming, international transit traffic and international interconnection. It was decided to apply to the Methodological Council on Fiscal Policy Coordination under the Economy Ministry.
