Swiss National Day

IBC participated in a reception on the occasion of the Swiss National Day that has been celebrated on August 1 since 1891. The date refers to a historic alliance concluded in 1291 by the three cantons of Uri, Schwyz and Unterwalden. The holiday was introduced officially in 1891, in the year of the 600th anniversary of the Confederation’s founding.
