On August 3, 2015 the President of the Kyrgyz Republic signed the Law “On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic” with regard to the property rights of financial institutions for land use.

The law prescribes reduced term of temporary property right of banks and specialized financial institutions to the lands of agricultural purpose.

The law aims at reducing the period of temporary right of ownership of banks and specialized financial institutions on agricultural land.

The law shall enter into force 15 days after its official publication.
