The Economy Ministry of the Kyrgyz Republic proposes not to apply the law “On holding companies” to the procurements of holding companies

The Economy Ministry has drafted a Law “On National Holding Companies in the Kyrgyz Republic.”

According to the draft law, a national holding will be registered in the form of a joint stock company aimed at increasing of the public assets cost in the long-term.

Joint stock companies with the state share now have to follow the requirement of the Law “On State Procurements”. In market conditions and competitive environment, additional requirements of the law negatively impact the financial and economic activity of companies.
