By decision of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, the Executive Director of the International Business Council, Askar Sydykov, was awarded the medal “10 Years of the Eurasian Economic Union”.

The award ceremony took place on April 11, 2025 at the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic. The award was presented by the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Amangeldiev.

“This high award is recognition of your merits, professionalism and significant personal contribution to the development of the Eurasian Economic Union,” said Amangeldiev, addressing the awardees.

The decision to award the medal was signed by the presidents of the EAEU member states in December last year in the city of St. Petersburg.

According Amangeldiev, from 2015 to 2024, the mutual trade between the Kyrgyz Republic and the EAEU countries doubled – from 2448.3 million US dollars in 2015 to 4992.4 million US dollars in 2024. Such indicators testify to the stable and progressive development of cooperation and deepening of integration ties between the Union countries.
