The draft JORC Code will be discussed by the working group in the Ministry of Economy of the KR

The Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves (‘the JORC Code’) is a professional code of practice that sets minimum standards for Public Reporting of minerals Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves. The JORC Code provides a mandatory system for the classification of minerals Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves according to the levels of confidence in geological knowledge and technical and economic considerations in Public Reports.

Please kindly find enclosed the draft JORC Code developed for the Kyrgyz Republic (Russian and English versions) and an explanatory note to it provided to us by the Kyrgyz Mining Association.

This draft Code will be discussed by a special working group created by the Ministry of Economy where an IBC representative will also be participating.

Please provide your comments to these documents (if any) by 11 September 2015 via emails (ibc.kyrgyzstan@gmail.com and ichunuev@gmail.com) and we will communicate them to the working group members.
