ADB mission reveals business problems in Kyrgyzstan

Representatives of IBC and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) discussed the situation in key sectors of the Kyrgyz economy, including subsoil use, tourism, agriculture, energy and the ICT sector.

They also considered results of Kyrgyzstan’s activities within the Eurasian Economic Union, the World System of Preferences (GSP+) and the World Trade Organization.

Director of the ADB regional office for economic analysis and operational support, Edimon Ginting, has arrived to Kyrgyzstan with a research mission aimed at identifying business and enterprise problems and their solutions, as well as prospects for the development of the Kyrgyz economy.

A report and recommendations on the results of the research mission will be submitted to the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic for consideration.
