On July 28, 2015 the Ministry of Economy submitted for public discussion the draft Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Industrial Parks in the Kyrgyz Republic”.

The draft law provides for legal framework of the industrial parks activity, its order of establishment, functioning and termination and determines framework of government support for industrial parks in order to implement investment and industrial policy of state bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Creation of industrial parks is aimed to consolidate small and medium-sized businesses into high-capacity industrial systems, to take away existing industry outside of residential area and to provide its consolidation in special places.
