IBC Executive Director Askar Sydykov was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Eurasian Economic Commission for active participation in the preparation and holding of the Eurasian Economic Forum, which took place on May 26, 2022 in Bishkek.

The award ceremony took place on July 3, 2022 at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Certificate of Honor was signed by Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Forum Organizing Committee, EEC Council Chairman Arzybek Kojoshev and EEC Board Chairman Mikhail Myasnikovich.

At the Eurasian Economic Forum 2022, the IBC head Askar Sydykov announced business proposals.

Sydykov raised the problem of the difficult passage of goods across borders within the EAEU, urging countries to build an optimal model in this area. IBC proposed to work out a mechanism for determining the cost, liability and compensation for losses incurred by businesses as a result of the applied barriers.

He also raised the issue of liberalization of services, in particular audit and legal services, as obstacles may arise in the absence of harmonized norms in various sectors.

The forum participants came to a common understanding that to ensure full benefits and equal access of all EAEU member countries to the markets of this integration association, it is necessary to harmonize industry markets by removing internal barriers.

At the forum, more than 20 agreements and memorandums were signed aimed at strengthening cooperation in industry, transportation, antimonopoly regulation, e-commerce, as well as education and culture.
