Business to discuss reducing the COVID-19 impact on Kyrgyz economy

Dear IBC members,

Due to the changing global COVID-19 related epidemiological situation, to minimize the current and possible negative economic consequences of the decrease in economic activity, IBC collects information on the existing difficulties of Kyrgyz businesses, possible future consequences and proposals for steps that the Government could take to address the situation.

The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic has created a Country’s Main Office to implement economic measures to minimize the impact of external shocks and stimulate economic development: https://www.gov.kg/ru/post/s/sozdan-respublikanskiy-shtab-po-minimizatsii-posledstviy-ot-vneshnikh-shokov-i-stimulirovaniya-ekonomicheskogo-razvitiya The Office is developing an Anti-Crisis Action Plan aimed, at also supporting the business environment.

In this regard, please send us any available information on current issues related to the possible decline in economic activity, as well as suggestions for resolving them via the following email: expert@ibc.kg.
