Talas entrepreneurs need help in selling agricultural products and access to finance

The delegation of the Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic under the National Sustainable Development Council of the Kyrgyz Republic met with representatives of the business community of the Talas oblast on November 11.

The meeting was held by Committee Deputy Chairman IBC Executive Director Askar Sydykov and representatives of the Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Business Development and Investment Council under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The plenipotentiary representative of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Talas oblast Marat Murataliev and representative of the Investments Promotion and Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic Sukhrab Razzakov were also invited to the meeting.

Entrepreneurs in the agricultural, tourism and trade sectors raised the following issues:

- Packaging, processing and sale of agricultural products, in particular beans;

- Access to finance including funds for targeted financing of regional development allocated by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Bakubat Talas development fund;

- Development of trade and logistics centers in the Talas oblast for the storage and sale of meat and agricultural products.

- Simplification of tax administration, including through the digitalization of fiscal procedures.

Representatives of the business community made recommendations for improving the investment climate in the Talas region.
