The 8th Kyrgyz-Russian Interregional Conference will be held in Bishkek

On March 27-28, 2019, Bishkek will host the Eighth Kyrgyz-Russian Interregional Conference "New Horizons for Strategic Partnership and Integration."

The event is organized by the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation with the support of the Rosskongress Foundation.

The conference is timed to the state visit of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the Kyrgyz Republic.

Four roundtables are planned to be held at the conference: “Ways to realize integration potential within the EAEU for the development of trade and economic cooperation and industrial cooperation”, “Bilateral cooperation in the framework of digital transformation “Digital Kyrgyzstan”, “Development of bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector of Kyrgyzstan and Russia taking into account transport and logistics capabilities", and "Development of mechanisms for investment and financial cooperation."

It is also planned to sign a number of investment agreements between representatives of the regional business community and trade and economic agreements / memorandums between the regions of the participating countries.

A mini-exhibition of Kyrgyz products, pitch sessions of Kyrgyz and Russian companies and a business “Promotion of products to the Kyrgyz and Russian markets” are planned to be held during the conference.
