The participants of the IBC Economic Journalism Club project discussed these and many other issues at the final business lunch of the project, the results of which will be summarized at the final event on December 13.

Reputable experts answered the questions of the club members:

Aicholpon Jorupbekova, Managing Partner of Kalikova & Associates the law firm;

Dilyara Sharshembiyeva, Head of Legal Department of KAZ Minerals Bozymchak LLC;

Yahia Said, IMF Resident Representative in Bishkek.

Experts spoke about legislation aimed at attracting and protecting foreign investment, particularly in the mining industry, stressing the importance of stabilizing tax legislation for subsoil users.

According to the club members, the meeting was very useful and productive.
