On October 29, IBC Executive Director Askar Sydykov took part in the meeting of the U.S. Acting Special Representative for Commercial and Business Affairs (CBA) in the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs (EB) Scott Ticknor with the leaders of business associations.

The meeting participants discussed ways to enhance the investment climate for foreign investors, advance economic development and intellectual property rights in the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as opportunities for cooperation and exchanges.

The Commercial and Business Affairs Office advocates on behalf of U.S. business interests abroad, promoting entrepreneurship and innovation, and protecting intellectual property rights.
