On September 17, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov met with representatives of the business community in the Ala-Archa State residence.

"The main goal of our meeting is to openly discuss the country's economy and acute problems of entrepreneurship. What does business need to further develop the economy and how the branches of power could support it?" the President addressed the businesspeople.

IBC Executive Director Askar Sydykov spoke about the main problems of the association members. First of all, a consistent fiscal policy is needed. The business supports the President's message on the establishment of the Business Ombudsman institution, aimed to protect the rights of entrepreneurs. This is one of the business proposals. IBC also supports the creation of the Industrial Development Committee under the National Sustainable Development Council. More

For a quick push of the economy, it makes sense to work point-to-point and launch several large investment projects. This can generate serious revenue to the country’s economy, Sydykov added.
