Discussion on the cutting of valuable tree species will be continued

IBC representatives took part in a meeting at the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic to discuss compensatory measures for the cutting of particularly valuable tree species. The meeting took place after the IBC’s appeal to the Government on this issue.

Following the meeting, the State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use of the Kyrgyz Republic were entrusted to revise the proposals discussed.
