Economy Ministry proposes establishing a pilot Business Service Center in Bishkek

The Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic held a presentation of the creation of Business Service Centers. Economy Minister Artem Novikov, representatives of IBC and other business associations took part in the meeting.

According to the Economy Minister, the main goal of establishing the centers is to help the business and simplify the procedures of the provision of services within each department, exclusion of corruption mechanisms, provision of quality, timely and affordable services to entrepreneurs. The Ministry proposed to set up a pilot center in Bishkek with the prospect of opening such centers throughout the country. The business community supported the initiative of the Economy Ministry.

The Center will provide such services as providing information, issuing licenses and permits, supporting foreign trade activities, and others.

The business community supported the initiative of the Economy Ministry and suggested to pay special attention to the export and import issues, as domestic entrepreneurs face difficulties and risks related to the supply of local products to the markets of the Eurasian Economic Union.
